I'm a vet who's been in the industry (all over it!) for nearly 20 years, and I spent years wondering why so many of us... smart, capable, genuinely caring people... end up feeling so lost inside a career we chose so many years ago. Most of us have always wanted to be vets since we were little, so what do we do when it starts making us so unhappy?

I started Happy Vets because I thought the industry needed a place where not only could we be really fucking real about the realities of this industry, but where we can actually talk about real solutions too (not fancy buzzwords like work/life balance and self-care, but what does that actually MEAN at a real, tangible and applicable, level?)

In other words, this is where you come when you're tired of always saying "I'm fine."
